Relieve that tension, move easier, feel better... our treatment is for everyone
F.A.Q.
Physiotherapists help you get the most out of life. They help you recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness, increase mobility, restore functional ability and prevent further injury. They listen to your needs to tailor a treatment specific to your condition.
We achieve this through:
- Soft-tissue release ie massage & trigger pointing
- Joint mobilisation and manipulation
- Exercise prescription with a focus on practical exercises for home
- Electrotherapy ie interferential & ultrasound for pain management to be used in conjunction with other modalities
- Taping or brace prescription
- Advice on lifestyle, ergonomics, movement quality etc.
At our clinic we process payments with a Tyro Health EFTPOS terminal that offers private health card holders with Physiotherapy Extras instant health insurance rebates – meaning your healthfund will cover a portion of the cost of treatment so that you only need to pay the gap (even if you come in for a massage!) The gap is due on the day of the appointment. Check with your provider for your coverage.
If your GP has given you a valid referral with a Care Plan aka CDM plan for up to 5x subsidised Allied Health visits your out-of-pocket cost for the visit due on the day currently is $10.85 – with Medicare rebates covering the rest.
Our initial & follow-up consultations are booked for 30 minute slots as 1:1 appointments. There is some flexibility in the length of your appointment depending on the complexity of your presentation.
No, you do not need a referral to see a Physiotherapist. To book an appointment click BOOK NOW above or give me a call on 0448 694 483. If you have a referral please bring it along.
